Dr. Brian McGourty established Eyecare Associates of Nampa, P.A. in 1978. His undergraduate work includes a B.A. in biology from Rider University. His professional studies include a B.S from Pennsylvania College of Optometry as well as his Doctor of Optometry in 1978. Dr. McGourty is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians. He is a board of director for the Idaho Eyecare Alliance, a statewide organization of Vision care Direct. He is a past president of the Nampa Kiwanis Club and past Trustee of the Nampa School District # 131 serving three years as chairman of the Nampa School Board. He is currently president of the board of directors of Witco, a non-profit organization serving developmentally disabled adults. He and his wife Vicki have resided in Nampa for over 30 years. They have 2 adult daughters, Jennifer and Kristi, and 4 grandchildren.
Dr. McGourty provides a full range of Medical eye care services including surgery co-management, cataract and diabetic eye care, glaucoma treatment, contact lens and low vision care.
Dr. Landon Hagberg joined the Eye Care Associates of Nampa, P.A in August 2011. His undergraduate work includes a B.A. in Biology and a Minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University-Idaho. His professional studies include a Doctorate from Ohio State University’s College of Optometry in 2010. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians. Dr Hagberg joins us from Cincinnati, OH where he provided eye care for over 30 nursing homes and patients and successfully managed diabetic, glaucoma, hypertension, cataracts, and other ocular health care. Dr Hagberg is well versed in fitting all Contact Lenses, especially new multi focal soft contact lenses. Currently, he also visits nursing home facilities in the Treasure Valley and is looking forward to serving the community and meeting all of our patients. He and his wife, Kara, recently moved back to Idaho with their daughter, Bexley, and are looking forward to residing in Nampa for many years to come.
